Mulching is a must with most of the larger raised planters as it slows the evaporation of water from the bed and helps keep the soil cool for the roots. Mulching is also an excellent weed deterrent. Weed-free organic material is preferred for mulching so that it enriches the soil as it decays.

This is a raised island with mulch and evergreens shrubs added as for our clients request.

We stock a wide range of evergreens and flowering shrubs which are grown in our nurseries and greenhouses. We will select the proper size and species suitable for your custom landscape design.

We own our equipment and we meet our deadlines.  We don't rely on contractors or rent or borrow equipment from other companies.  This is a representative sample of one of our projects.

We will design and build any raised island according to your desired needs. There are many variations of plants out there so we will have to show you samples to find the right shrubs and pattern that will compliment your home or commercial site. This raised island is aesthetically appealing and accents any landscape project.

All of our raised islands are made to be easily accessible and arranged in a fashion to fit together as an attractive landscape unit. Avoiding the tendency to line up little garden plots in rows resembling grave yards. Trees and shrubs can be used to enclose one or more sides of the raised island site, providing both privacy and a pleasing backdrop, but avoid shading the garden with excessive plantings.

We offer the option of a wide variety of stone and gravel products of different sizes, shapes, textures and colors. They can be used for a ground cover instead of mulch and are superior for a maintaince free island.
